NorthSign provides technology for electronic signatures and document workflows: file upload, signers and fields, delivery through available channels, real-time tracking, evidence generation and public validation of completed documents.

API and webhook access may be released after a sales review. Authentication and identity checks, when available, depend on the plan, market and active integrations.

NorthSign provides software only. It is not a party to the underlying transaction between sender and signers and does not control document content. The sender must confirm that the chosen signature method fits the document and applicable law.

Accounts may start with free documents under the offer shown on the Platform. Paid plans (Start, Business, Scale and enterprise terms) set monthly document, user and feature limits.

Documents or sends beyond the plan limit may be blocked or billed as overages, as shown at checkout or in billing.

Unused transactions or benefits may expire at the end of the plan cycle, according to the contracted plan.

In Canada and the United States, payment may be processed by Square or other providers shown at checkout. Prices, taxes, renewal and payment method are disclosed before purchase.

Monthly or annual plans may renew automatically when that option is active. Cancel before the next cycle to avoid a new charge, subject to the period already paid.

If payment fails, NorthSign may limit new sends and plan features until the account is current, while keeping access to existing documents whenever reasonably possible.

To use the Services, you must create an account with true, complete and current information (individual or company, as applicable).

Credentials are personal. You are responsible for all activity under your account and must promptly report unauthorized use.

NorthSign may suspend or close accounts for false data, unlawful use, security risk, legal order or breach of these Terms.

You represent that you are authorized to upload documents and process signer data. You are responsible for content, lawfulness, accuracy, parties and correct recipients.

The Platform may record creation, sending, viewing, authentication, acceptance, signature, date, time, IP, device and file integrity (for example, a hash). These events form the audit trail and do not replace specific legal requirements.

Some acts may require digital certificates, witnesses or other formalities. You must confirm that your chosen flow is suitable.

The NorthSign brand, software, interface, documentation and other Platform elements are protected by intellectual property rights.

You may not copy, resell, modify, reverse engineer, commercially exploit or interfere with the security of the service, except with express permission or as allowed by law.

The Platform may undergo maintenance or third-party outages (hosting, email, messaging, payments, APIs).

NorthSign uses reasonable efforts for availability and does not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Integrations depend on their providers.

Personal information is handled under the Privacy Policy and applicable privacy law (including PIPEDA in Canada and applicable U.S. laws).

For data you place in documents and signature flows, NorthSign may act as a service provider/processor; you remain responsible for legal bases and notices to individuals.

To the extent permitted by law, NorthSign is not liable for document content or substantive validity, acts of Users or signers, third-party failures, or indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

Liabilities that cannot legally be excluded remain preserved.

These Terms may be updated. The current version and update date will be published on the Platform. Continued use after publication may constitute acceptance of the updated version, without prejudice to additional notices when required.

For the Canadian operation (/ca), these Terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the applicable province. For the United States operation (/us), they are governed by applicable U.S. law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections.
